INTERACT
INTERACT IS INTERNATIONAL ACTION
Interact is a service club geared for youths, ages 12-18 in high school, who want to create a positive impact on the world. Sponsored by Rotary International as its high school branch, this club reflects the nature of an organization that exists in 110 countries and promotes active service around the world. We participate in local service to benefit the community, as well as carry out large-scale projects to address problems on a national and worldwide scale. With almost 200,000 members and more than 8,600 clubs worldwide, Interact is a powerful force of world-shakers and dreamers, embodying Rotary's "Service Above Self."
Interact Club is much more than popularity, much more than community service hours, much more than college applications. At its core, Interact is about empowerment. Surrounded by individuals united by a drive for service, Interact creates an atmosphere of conviction—a mentality of "we CAN." Despite the hardships we may face, we CAN overcome anything. In the face of adversity, we CAN stand strong. As a unified force of youths, we CAN make a difference.
